Get ready, shoppers, because one hell of a sale is coming to Adelaide for a limited time.
Have you heard of a little-known designer named Carla Zampatti? I thought you might have. The late designer is an icon of the Australian fashion scene and a pioneer as a global women’s leader.
Her classic, elegant designs are sought after by fashionistas around the world and now you have the chance to pick up a piece (or two) at the massive Carla Zampatti Studio Sale taking place right here in Adelaide next week.
For the first time ever, people in Adelaide will have physical access to Carla Zampatti’s previous creations at a discount of up to 70%.
After immigrating from Italy to Australia in 1950, Carla used her craft and design skills, fueled by her love of fashion, to open her first boutique in 1972 which eventually exploded into 30 stores and a partnership with David Jones. .
Carla’s designs were not only fashion forward, but wearable and practical – perfect for the everyday working woman and that’s what made her famous. She would later be known for her jumpsuits and glamorous evening wear.
