Apple launches Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones in limited edition model

Apple has released the limited edition Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones, designed in partnership with fashion label A-COLD-WALL owned by British designer Samuel Ross. Called Beats Studio 3 Wireless – A-COLD-WALL Limited Edition, the headphones feature a slate color palette that includes an application of “speckled cement” covering both the construction and the ear pads. Along with the new design, the new Beats Studio 3 is identical to the existing headphones that Apple first released in September 2017. The headphones feature Beats’ exclusive Pure Active Noise Canceling (Pure ANC) technology and are powered by the Apple W1 chip.

The limited edition Beats Studio 3 Wireless – A-COLD-WALL is priced at $ 349.95 (approximately Rs 25,900). The headphones are initially limited to Apple’s online store in the United States, with a “coming soon” label. Details on global pricing and availability of the new Beats Studio 3 headphones have yet to be revealed. The list of new Beats Studio 3 headphones was originally spotted by Macotakara.

In 2017, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless launched for the same price of $ 349.95 and was available in shades of Blue, Matte Black, Porcelain Pink, Red, Shadow Gray, and White.

Beats Studio 3 Wireless – A-COLD-WALL Limited Edition Specs

The Limited Edition Beats Studio 3 Wireless – A-COLD-WALL features a slate color palette with a “speckled cement” application to deliver a distinct design. The headphones also carry an ACW support logo and an onyx line on each side. In addition, the inner band of the Beats Studio 3 Limited Edition is a clay color.

Apple packed the new headphones in wood fiber packaging. It is claimed to be either recycled or from responsibly managed forests. The outer box and recessed strip would also be made from recycled fibers.

In terms of hardware, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless – A-COLD-WALL Limited Edition are the same as the classic Beats Studio 3 headphones. They will include Pure ANC technology which is supposed to actively block out external noise and use real-time audio calibration to preserve clarity, reach and emotion. There are also soft ear pads that help reduce ambient noise. Under the hood, the new Beats Studio 3 headphones include the Apple W1 chip to enable seamless setup and switching between users of Apple devices. The chip also includes Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity (Bluetooth v4.0).

The new Beats Studio 3 headphones are said to deliver up to 22 hours of music playback on a single charge. The battery can be extended up to 40 hours by disabling the Pure ANC function. There’s also Fast Fuel technology that helps provide faster charging support – three hours of playtime in just 10 minutes of charging.

Apple supplied the Beats Studio 3 Wireless – A-COLD-WALL Limited Edition with a 3.5mm RemoteTalk cable, USB-A to USB Micro-B charging cable, and a carrying case. The headphones weigh 260 grams.
