British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is facing the worst political crisis of his life, hanging from his post by a thread after the mass resignations of his ministers. But it doesn’t seem to have any effect on BBC presenter Tim Willcox who took his phone off the desk during a live broadcast.
The short clip appeared on Twitter showing the blunder and became an instant hit.

The blunder happened when BBC Correspondent Ros Atkins was reporting live from Downing Street on the number of Cabinet ministers who visited Number 10 when the camera suddenly cut out the studio and showed a relaxed Mr Willcox.
Glasses on, he scrolled his phone intermittently checking the live stream. Realizing he’s on the air, the presenter suddenly put his phone, glasses and feet away. The footage was taken back to Mr. Atkins.
The embarrassing moment only lasted a few seconds, but it was enough for eagle-eyed viewers to capture the footage and post it to social media. The comments were also hilarious.
“Why would you do that on live TV? asked one user. “Buckle Rich! But don’t get too comfortable at the news desk,” another said.
“When you’re sitting at a Termius station and a passenger comes by asking a question,” one Twitter user commented.
A defiant Boris Johnson has so far pushed back on calls from within his own cabinet to step down, saying it could lead to political instability, according to a report by The Times.
“A prime minister’s job in difficult circumstances when you’ve been given a colossal mandate is to carry on. And that’s what I’m going to do,” Johnson told lawmakers on Wednesday. “We will go on and deliver our term and win another general election,” he added.
On Tuesday, two key ministers, namely Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak resigned from their posts.
The Prime Minister’s exit comes amid a row involving former Conservative party whip Chris Pincher, who has been accused of sexual misconduct.
