Cosina set to announce new Voigtländer camera lenses next month

It looks like Cosina has one or more new Voigtländer lenses to announce at the CP+ Imaging Show in February. CP+ takes place in Japan and is the world’s largest trade show for photo and video equipment, with other exhibitors this year including Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System (Olympus) and Sony.

Cosina has not announced the goals she will exhibit but in her Organic CP+, he said that new products will be on display. “Voigtländer and Zeiss ZM & DSLR lenses will be on display at the Cosina booth. We will touch and try products and exhibit new products that will be launched in the future.”

The last Voigtländer lenses announced were the 90mm f/2.8 SLII-S Apo-Skopar lens for Nikon F mount and the 90mm f/2.8 VM Apo-Skopar lens for Sony E mount. Nikon 90mm lens is designed with a vintage aesthetic in mind, it offers modern functionality, high quality images and is available in silver or black.

If you’re looking for a high-performance lens for your full-frame Sony camera, the Voigtländer 90mm promises crisp, color-rich images with its new optical system. It is compact and extremely portable, weighing only 250g. The all-metal body is rigid and durable and, like the Nikon lens, is available in black or silver. Nikon and Sony 90mm lenses are now available for pre-order by B&H in the United States or Wex Photo Video UK.

Voigtländer was founded in 1756 in Vienna, Austria by Johann Christoph Voigtländer. Although it only exists today as a registered trademark, it is no wonder that the optical image quality of its lenses is so good; With over 250 years of lens and camera manufacturing experience, it’s one of the oldest brands in the game.

Renowned for creating metal-bodied SLR-style lenses for modern cameras, Voigtländer is one of the best third-party brands, offering quality products but at an affordable price. Whichever lens CP+ releases, you can be sure it will have the same outstanding build quality and deliver high quality images as all of its other lenses.
