Emma Bunton spilled the beans on her Spice Girls days which, from the sound of things, were pretty boozy.

The 46-year-old pop star rose to fame as Baby Spice in the 1990s girl group alongside Geri Halliwell, 50, Victoria Beckham, 48, Melanie C, 48 and Mel B, 47.

Now Emma has revealed the five drank a lot of alcohol in the studio while recording their albums because you could “get away with anything” at the time.

“We used to have an awesome time and we used to go out so late, sleep for a few hours and then get back on stage, it was bad,” she shared.

“When we were in the studio, we drank a lot. The 90s were the best for that, you could get away with anything!

So the next time you listen to your favorite Spice Girls album, you can imagine what was really going on behind the mic.

What took you so long? The hitmaker went on to discuss the girls’ iconic outfits, admitting she would still feel “weird” if she wore something usually associated with other girls, like Scary Spice’s leopard print or Ginger Spice’s famous Union Jack emblem.

Admitting she still finds the idea strange to this day, she is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column as saying: “I would still feel weird if I wore leopard print, I just couldn’t do it, I always think it’s weird wearing leopard print or Union Jack!’

Emma also revealed that despite having an intense early party, in 1998 Geri left the group and Victoria and Mel B ended up pregnant, meaning Baby felt like she had to “drink for three”, which who on one occasion left her puking out of a car window on the freeway.

“I had a little too much,” she said of one crazy night out. “We were on a highway; I threw up out the window and it came back into Mel B’s mouth!’

Well, at least no one can say they were never close!

The best-selling girl group of all time will release expanded new versions of the album across multiple formats, with the track listings curated by the members themselves.

Spiceworld25 will bring together the original chart-topping album with some of the band’s favorite bonus tracks and B-sides, plus never-before-seen live recordings from the Virgin Records archives.

Speaking about their upcoming release, the band said, “The Spiceworld era was such a fun time for us; we had just had a number one album with Spice, we were traveling all over the world and meeting our amazing fans, we released our second album and we had our own movie! Who would have believed it ? It’s crazy to think that 25 years have passed.

As if a new release of the hit album wasn’t enough, they also surprised fans with an alternate Spice Up Your Life music video, made with never-before-seen footage.

Nobody can say that he gives us nothing!
