Some Potterheads would say that the most magical scenes in Harry potter the films are those of Christmas. See snow covered Hogwarts and the Great Hall twinkle with huge Christmas trees in Harry potter and the sorcerer’s stone and speechless at the incredible ice sculptures of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Once again, Harry potter fans will be in for a treat this Christmas. They themselves can witness the magic of Hogwarts at Christmas, as dinner in the Great Hall returns to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter in December.
Guests will enjoy an incredible two course meal in the Great Hall followed by a dessert bowl on the 9 ¾ platform, and they will also have access to the Studio Tour after opening hours.
Dine like the students of Hogwarts, as our popular Dining in the Great Hall events return for another magical year. Every evening from December 13 to 15, you are invited to an aperitif under the imposing Dragon in the Studio Tour lobby before heading to the magnificent Great Hall for a delicious two-course sit-down dinner.
You will have the chance to explore the depths of the Studio Tour, exclusively after hours, marveling at the original settings while tasting dessert dishes and the wizard’s favorite drink, butter beer!
To top off the night, you can dance the night away with a Hogwarts Express nightclub on the 9 ¾ platform before heading to the Studio Tour store to select a wand of your choice to take home.
Guests will receive welcome drinks and canapes upon arrival, a mug of butter beer in the Backlot Café, and a complimentary green screen souvenir photo. The evenings will start at 6.30 p.m. and end at midnight, and guests will be seated at tables of 10 or 12 people.
This is the first time that the dinner in the great hall will take place since 2019; the COVID-19 pandemic forced the Studio Tour to close for several months throughout 2020, disrupting Hogwarts in the snow of last year and meaning that Dinner in the Great Hall did not happen.
This year Dinner in the Great Hall will take place on 13th, 14th and 15th December and tickets cost £ 260 per person.
