Mob Psycho 100 Studio President Reveals Anime’s Biggest Challenge

Mob Psycho 100 is set to return for its third season this fall, joining the likes of My Hero Academia and Bleach for their respective returns. At this year’s Crunchyroll Expo, the president of Studio Bones, the animation studio responsible for animating Mob and his psychopathic co-horts, discussed on a panel and touched on some of the most great challenges encountered while creating an anime adaptation for the series created by the mangaka known as ONE.

Chairman Masahiko Minami addressed some of the biggest challenges in directing Mob, as the popular anime adaptation prepares for the arrival of its third season:

“When asked what was the hardest aspect of animating Mob Psycho 100, Minami replied that the webcomic creator has incredible world-building skills. However, in animating , that can be tricky when you’re dealing with environments Minami meant to treat it right and In most anime series, even Bones, there’s a hybrid structure when it comes to adding CGI and hand-drawn work. However, MP100 is completely handmade. However, Minami says it’s incredibly difficult to do everything by hand drawn work because it’s such a struggle. It’s in his own work when he s is about effort.

The third season of Mob Psycho 100 will arrive on October 5th, which means there will only be a few weeks left before fans can once again return to the world of the psychic high schooler.
