Anonymous, 6 hours agoWell said. Average Consumers Just Don’t Care About Numbers however, some stupid “average” customers think more RAM is faster than chipset. they kind of cared about the numbers.

The sample photo may look attractive, but no one can tell if this sample photo was a modification or straight from the sensor without any modification.
I don’t care about the camera. Pixel takes better photos than that. I wish it had a flat screen instead of a curved one and had a 5500 battery capacity.

but they look worse because they would get too sharp an image. what the person you are responding to is true. 200mp is just a marketing gimmick. and it wastes storage easily. it is useless to have a huge amount of megapixels if there is no sd card. don’t say cloud storage. they are annoying. need to be online 24/7 just to see a picture taken in the cloud.
S Yu, 13 hours agoSince when is 1″ “thin wafer” at any aperture in any definition…1 inch 3:2 has a crop factor of 2.7, with 4:3 the crop factor will be smaller, let’s call it 2.5, and the lens aperture is f1.9, let’s call it 35mm f4.9 equivalent aperture, on a full frame camera which still has a shallow depth of field where if you have two friends who are not parallel to each other one will be out of focus. Ok, it’s not as thin as f2.8 at full frame, but it’s still very thin. Full-frame mirrorless cameras are more professional tools where you shoot static subjects in the studio.
If you included an aperture/blade control mechanism you would increase the size of the module, so I doubt you could have a 1 inch sensor with the ability to stop. Therefore, the Xiaomi 12s ultra is not for me.

Waxy, as expected. In fact, they would probably need a pixel shift to fix this on quad array.

The real question is whether it’s better than an ungrouped 50mp Bayer quad sensor, because in 4 to 1 mode, 4 virtual pixels still share the same color filter.

As expected, it’s mediocre at best, even taking compression into account. These high megapixel sensors are 100% marketing and 0% substance.
