PORTSMOUTH – Seacoast ArtSpot opened this fall with an open house on Saturday September 25th. Seacoast ArtSpot is a studio offering creative classes for all ages and abilities. Owner Dott Ferrari, originally from Portsmouth and successful entrepreneur, has brought together a group of talented local artists, artisans, designers, makers and teachers who are passionate about their art and share these skills with the community.
“I have been planning to open a studio for many years and here it is! I like the idea that people have a place where they can feel comfortable exploring their personal creativity. We’ve all been home for too long! It’s time to get out there and learn a new skill, try a new artistic medium and have some fun while sticking to covid protocols, ”said Ferrari.
“The defining characteristic of the studio is the diversity of the course offer. There is something for everyone. Morning art and STEAM classes for kindergarten children, after school classes for elementary school students and teens, and evening classes for adults. We have a sewing studio and there are also a lot of holiday craft classes on the schedule, ”she said. “We are a fun and welcoming creative art center that brings the community together through creativity, inclusiveness and personal enrichment.”
They also offer a local non-profit space for meetings and events. The building is wheelchair accessible and for those who need additional assistance, their support person will not be required to purchase a ticket.
