Swedish H&M Launches B2B Merchandise Service Creator Studio

The H&M group trading companies have launched Creator Studio, a global platform and service for the merchandise industry. Using assets built by H&M over the years, its mission is to create a new standard for goods through technology. H&M is a Swedish clothing company known for its fast fashion clothing for men, women, teens and children.

Through a lean production process, custom digital printing, and e-commerce setup and integrations, Creator Studio aims to lower the barriers for brands and designers to deliver good quality products. To move the business forward, Creator Studio will grow its customer base by integrating a number of global brands and designers and expanding its offering with experiences beyond traditional merchandise, H&M said in a press release.

To complement this, H&M CO: LAB, the group’s investment arm, has invested in Printify, a leading transparent print-on-demand network. Founded in 2015, their e-commerce platform allows anyone to start a business and create their own unique products with almost zero upfront investment and as little risk as possible, managing both printing and distribution. It is designed to move the world towards on-demand production while helping traders build sustainable businesses.
