AMSTERDAM—Telemetrics has unveiled a wireless and battery-powered video transmission system for its OmniGlide roving robotic platform that allows users to freely move the popular OmniGlide studio camera stand and avoid obstacles virtually anywhere in the world. studio without cables.

The new option for the OmniGlide consists of a wireless transmitter and a battery system configured to the rover’s specifications. It maintains the precise, pre-programmed or manual movements of the rover.

The lithium-ion battery system provides DC power, long life and is fully rechargeable, making it ideal for long studio projects, the company said.

Users can shoot a production all day on battery power, then charge it overnight to be ready for the next day. The robust characteristics of the wireless transmitter and its low latency (subframe delay of 7 milliseconds) guarantee the reliability of the exact movements of the base.
