The mobile camera takes photos suitable for every skin tone

Love who you are and be proud of your color because the world needs more people who show their identity and accept others too. In our time, when the whole world is going through a difficult time, people should come together to help each other, because the world cannot be run by individuals but by people working together.

That’s why a global tech innovator envisions a world where inclusive phone design can help form communities, connect people and ensure no one is left behind.

TECNO is dedicated to inclusive camera technology to help create a world with understanding and connections.

The emerging market-focused smartphone brand recently teamed up with the UK national broadcaster’s in-house business studio to create a short film “The Future Lens: Looking Ahead With TECNO” to explore how mobile camera lenses help provide inclusive mobile camera technologies for local consumers.

“Cameras have evolved over the years, but unfortunately it feels like the technology wasn’t created with everyone in mind. As a photographer, I think one of the most things you can do is take a portrait of someone who accurately represents who they are,” says Justin Amoafo, a photographer who has worked with global brands.

In the movie, TECNO illustrates why portrait imaging is its most revolutionary technology and how it has enabled users with dark skin to realize all possibilities of expression.

Based on innovations that can dramatically increase light intake and a huge database that covers 7 skin types in 76 skin categories, TECNO has made an impact in solving technical challenges regarding exposure, colors and hues in portrait photography.

Meanwhile, in the TECNO TAIVOS camera lab, more than 3,000 local samples with around 6,120 evaluation scenarios covering 115 countries enable the camera lab team to focus on localized ethnic research, ideology social aesthetics and aesthetic preferences research, in order to experience the direction of the product image effect is consistent with localized trends.

All of these innovations provide users with a technology that they don’t have to adapt to, but something that suits them.

“The Future Lens is the world without limits. Technology should include everyone and allow us to be ourselves, instead of being portrayed through a subjective lens. I believe it should be the mission of humans to create the technology that is more understanding and inclusive of all of us,” said Li Jiangtao, Senior Manager of TECNO Imaging Product and Head of TECNO TAIVOS™ Camera Lab.

As a rising innovator in mobile camera technology, TECNO is dedicated to an inclusive and emerging market-specific approach to bring its “Future Lens” camera concept to consumers.

The brand’s ongoing innovations, its initiatives to develop cameras that perform at a professional level, and the impact of these efforts on young progressive consumers have encapsulated its “Stop At Nothing” brand essence and the inclusive future that they want to create.

Technology must work for people and meet their needs. That’s why developers are constantly working to help deliver technology that works for everyone.
